SEMINYAK EXPAT COMMUNITY

Polished streets, proper restaurants, and sunset sessions at the beach clubs. Bali's more put-together side.

WHERE BALI DRESSES UP

If Canggu is Bali in boardshorts, Seminyak is Bali in linen. The restaurants take reservations. The bars have cocktail menus. The boutiques sell things you'd actually want to buy. It's more expensive, but the infrastructure shows it.

The expat scene here is different from Canggu's laptop crowd. More couples. More people in business, hospitality, fashion. More Indonesian entrepreneurs mixed in with the foreign residents. It feels a bit more like a real place and less like a digital nomad camp.

You're close to the airport, close to Kuta (for better or worse), and close to Canggu when you want something more casual. The beach clubs are iconic, the traffic can be brutal, and the price premium is real but often worth it.
