Uluwatu
The southern tip. Bigger waves, fewer crowds, dramatic cliffs. Popular with surfers and anyone who wants a bit more space. Growing fast lately.
Sanur
The quiet side of Bali. Calmer beaches, established restaurants, an older crowd. Good for families with young kids or anyone who finds Canggu exhausting.
Seminyak
More polished than Canggu, more expensive too. Good restaurants, beach clubs, shopping. Popular with couples and the business crowd.
