MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
Monthly Subscriptions
- You can cancel your membership at any time through your member dashboard
- Your membership remains active until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial months
- You will continue to have access to all member benefits until the end of your billing cycle
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Technical issues preventing access to member benefits
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Membership rejection (if your visa doesn't meet our requirements)
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date.
EVENT CANCELLATION
Member-Initiated Cancellation
- 48+ hours before event: Full refund available
- 24-48 hours before event: 50% refund or credit for future event
- Less than 24 hours: No refund (spot may be transferred to another member)
Event Cancellation by Local Expats Bali
If we need to cancel an event due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances:
- Full refund will be issued within 5-7 business days
- Alternative event credit may be offered
- Notification will be sent via email and WhatsApp
HOW TO REQUEST A CANCELLATION OR REFUND
- 1Membership: Cancel directly through your member dashboard, or contact us at weare@localexpatsbali.com
- 2Events: Cancel through the event page in your member dashboard, or message us on WhatsApp
- 3Refund requests: Email us with your membership email, reason for refund, and any relevant details
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of approval
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Bank processing times may vary (additional 3-10 business days)
- You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed
